Premier Inn Douglas, Isle of Man

Firstly, the hotel is in a very good location for things to do in Douglas and it's very handy for the bus station and ferry terminal. Some great (real ale) pubs are close by along with shops restaurants and a theatre. We had three nights in room 414. It's at the rear of the hotel which is probably best for a quieter night though I have never stayed in a front room. The view though....horrendous. see picture. We kept the blinds closed permanently. The bed was large and comfortable. Large TV. WiFi worked well though we needed to keep logging back in Easy enough. We were short of coat hangers. The bathroom worked well enough but it's always awkward climbing over the edge of the bath to stand in the shower spray. Only one bath towel. Again! Rectified later. The breakfast was basic but good. Sausages were tasty. Maxine was great and very friendly. I said I would look elsewhere next time but this location is too good a spot.

Convenient location. Mattresses need replacing, this was highlighted on last visit when we stayed in a different room. Only one towel for 2 people staying, again highlighted 9n last visit. Dirty laundry left in the corridors. Not to brand

We are staying at this hotel at the moment. We leave tomorrow morning to return home to Heysham. We always stay at the Premier Inn because we love it so much. The staff are really friendly, the rooms are spacious, Clean and modern and the prices are very reasonable. Big thank you to one of the managers, Steven. What a lovely man. Always makes us feel welcome. Looking forward to returning in a few months

Basic hotel. We just needed somewhere to sleep as we were visiting elderly relatives and saw them during the day. It was warm and the bed very comfortable. We ran out of loo paper and requested for the room to be cleaned. It wasn't but this was rectified. They only left one bath towel for 2 people! The staff were friendly and very helpful but the organisation needed to improve. The food was great and the meal deal worth having. On the whole it is as it is. It's a budget hotel that served our purpose.

Great location, friendly staff & trademark comfy bed! Great breakfast & although a small dinner choice, all food was hot & tasty! Taxi rank around the corner so perfect for when needing to get about. Happy to store luggage before check-in & post check-out which is really handy too! Would definitely stay again.
